HOW TO ENROL AT CHIDLOW PRIMARY SCHOOL
Chidlow Primary School is primarily a local-intake school and accepts applications from within designated boundaries. Applications from out-side the catchment area may be accepted if there is a vacancy available in the required year level.

Enrolment is a two-step process: an Application to Enrol Form followed by the formal Enrolment forms.
Applications for enrolments for the following school year should be submitted before the end of term 2 the preceding year. An enrolment application is required for all students entering Kindergarten and Pre-primary (including students already at the school). When lodging an Application to Enrol Form the following documentation is required:

Copies of your child’s FULL birth certificate

Most up to date – Australian Immunisation Register (ACIR) immunisation statement

Proof of address (preferably a copy of your Shire Rates and a utility account showing your current address details)

The local-intake area for Chidlow Primary School includes the following bus routes – Mayo Road, Ash Road/El Caballo ad Rolling Green/Lilydale. Approval to travel as a complimentary passenger on any of these buses does not entitle a child to attend Chidlow Primary School. Application for the bus service can be done at www.schoolbuses.wa.gov.au

Contributions and Charges 2025
In accordance with the Department of Education Contributions, Charges and Fees policy September 2001, schools can request up to a maximum contribution of $60 for years K –6. A contribution is voluntary and the funds are used towards the cost of materials, services and facilities used by students in the educational programme.
Money collected will be used to supplement school expenditure in the curriculum Learning Areas. While the Contributions are voluntary the quality of our teaching and learning program will be maximised when each family makes its contribution to the cost of supplementing funding gained from other sources, including the State and Commonwealth governments. It is therefore vital for the school to receive your family’s Contributions. Your Contribution will be used to supplement school funding for the purchase of resources needed in the provision of the learning program activities.
